Smart Energy Automation is led by three hands-on engineers with decades of combined experience in industrial automation, electrical engineering and low voltage systems. When you work with SEA, you work directly with the people who design, build and commission your project.

Miguel Sánchez

BMS DIRECTOR VP

Miguel Sanchez is a Co-founder of SEA who specializes in Automation & Controls. His extensive curriculum and knowledge in engineering of automation and processes makes “Smart Energy Automation” one of the leaders’ companies in the industry.

Responsible for all the Building Management System controls programming, equipment selection, logics, visualization and graphics generation. Also, his department is responsible for creating the building system architecture and layouts for the final client in all the projects.

Passionate about integrity and excellence, Miguel Sanchez fosters a company culture built on collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement. He believes that success is best achieved when everyone works together with a shared sense of purpose. His passion for his job and commitment to excellence has made him a cornerstone of our success.

His vision for the future and strategic mindset have been crucial in shaping the company’s path.

Outside the business environment, he dedicates part of his time to promoting initiatives focused on environmental conservation, responsible use of resources, and finding solutions that improve the relationship between people and nature. His philosophy is based on a simple principle: economic development and quality of life should go hand in hand with environmental protection.

Jaime Moya

MEP ENGINEER VP

Jaime Miquel Moya joined the Smart Energy Automation team in 2019 bringing 25 years of expertise in Mechanical Engineering design, commissioning, and inspections. Known for his design work in important projects such as Hospital work, educational, Brookhaven National Laboratory, or NYU Langone among others, he is passionate about new processes and challenge projects and leads his team with a focus on client satisfaction.

Jaime is a hands-on leader who believes in empowering the team to achieve success together. With a strong focus on innovation and customer satisfaction, he is dedicated to driving the company’s growth and making a positive impact on industry.

Outside of his professional life, our partner is a person with an extraordinary curiosity about technology and a constant passion for learning. He enjoys discovering new tools, technologies, and ways of doing things, especially those that can transform everyday life or open the door to new projects.

Juan Francisco

GENERAL PROJECT MANAGER

Co-founder of SEA with a background in Low voltage, IT, and energetic processes, Juan has been a driving force behind the company’s innovative approach to Building Management System.

With over 15 years of experience in Building Management System industry, Juan has developed a deep understanding of the combination of Network, MEP, & low voltage leading to several successful projects that have shaped the company’s vision. He leads the field installation of conduits, low voltage wiring, and all BMS control panels integration.

Additionally, his coordination with mechanical and electrical trades in the field is crucial for successful projects’ completion.

When he is not leading his department, he loves to enjoy family and friends.
